EVENT INNOVATES WITH DECORATION AND ARCHITECTURE SEGMENTS

IN ITS 18TH EDITION, THE FAIR DEBUTS A NOVEL SEMINAR AND CONCEPTUAL SPACE OF DECORATING TRENDS FOR RECREATION AREAS AND PROMOTES THE SEGMENTATION OF THE EXHIBITING COMPANIES BY PRODUCT PROFILE TO ATTRACT A GREATER NUMBER OF ARCHITECTS, DECORATORS AND LANDSCAPERS.

The second largest market for swimming pools in the world, Brazil has more than 2 million installed units (source: National Association of Swimming Pool Manufacturers and Builders – ANAPP). Close to 20% of the R$ 4.5 billion industry originates in the business done during the Expolazer – International Swimming Pools, Spas and Leisure Livings Trade Fair.
The event is promoted by Francal Feiras in partnership with the ANAPP and brings together 100 exhibitors in a 10,000 square meter area of Expo Center Norte, in Sao Paulo, where it is held every two years. In between editions in Sao Paulo, regional trade fairs are held in places such as last year’s event in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul.
This year, Expolazer has been refreshed. In order to better serve the specific needs of retailers, decorators, architects and landscapers, the exhibiting companies will be distributed at the fair in segments, according to the profile of products and services they have to offer.
Swimming Pools: brings together manufacturers of pools, spas, hot tubs and saunas, as well as equipment and accessories;
Decoration: companies that sell furniture, lamps, grills, fireplaces and social games present solutions for the creation of recreation areas which are harmonious, practical and comfortable;
Architecture: presents the main trends in finishing through product releases of manufacturers of flooring, coatings, solar heating, metals and related products.
With each edition, Expolazer is visited by 8,000 industry professionals, coming from every Brazilian state and from different countries. The majority is composed of retailers looking to conduct business with exhibiting companies and renew their showrooms for the summer, the time of year when demand grows for products and services related to outdoor recreation.
Many other sector professionals see the fair as an opportunity to catch up on new trends in colors, materials and technology for their projects. Besides architects, decorators and landscapers, there are engineers, and people responsible for the recreation areas of condominiums, hotels, resorts, clubs, shopping centers and gyms. Espaçolazer (Recreational space) Developed with the idea to show the most modern trends in domestic and international markets of recreational area decoration and ambiance, Espaçolazer brings new ideas for the decoration of residences, condominiums and hotels. The result of a partnership between Francal Feiras and Ação Editora, responsible for the magazine Kaza, a leading national publication geared towards the decoration, architecture and landscaping segment, ESPAÇOLAZER brings five concept-environments developed by 11 renowned architecture and landscaping professionals.
Seminar Part of the strategy of investing in a diversified program aimed at architects, decorators and landscapers, Expolazer offers a seminar dedicated to the theme. Held August 4-6, the Seminar has a diversified array of current topics discussed by architects, consultants, interior designers, landscapers, lighting designers and even artists with broad experience. The program features themes such as the use of Feng Shui in decoration, projects for outdoor areas, sustainability in urban environments, accessibility, garden ideas for small spaces and lighting for outdoor areas.
