QUALIFIED VISITATION CONFIRMS EXPOLAZER´S ROLE IN THE MARKET SEGMENT

BY THE MEASURE OF THE FIGURES OF A MARKET THAT CONTINUES TO GROW EVERY YEAR, EXPOLAZER 2013 ENDS WITH A SURPLUS OF QUALIFIED VISITORS, PACKED AUDITORIUM AT THE NATIONAL FORUM OF THE POOLS AND SPAS INDUSTRY AND BUSINESSES THAT PROMISE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE SECTOR WITH R$ 4, 5 BILLION IN SALES IN 2013.

Considered by manufacturers and suppliers as the event that inaugurates the sector´s calendar, EXPOLAZER also indicated the interest of a visitor profile more focused on doing business. In the four-day event, the fair received 6,389 visitors who despite seeking different kinds of products – from pools to spas, cleaning products to decoration for recreation areas – they all shared one thing in common: the qualification. Retailers, interior designers, architects and other industry professionals visited the fair with a posture that went beyond exploration. Determined to close deals during the event itself or to begin negotiations and orders during the fair, they helped move a segment that, in winter, heats the turbines to rotate the market, driving 20% of the industry´s turnover. Panozon´s performance at the fair exemplifies this scenario. With the initial goal of closer relationships with partners and prospecting new clients, the exhibitor was surprised with the result of its participation. “The volume of business deals closed at the tradeshow surprised me. I estimate we closed over R$ 1 million in sales in this edition”, says the company´s director, Rodrigo Sbízero. In the four-day event, the company still managed to raise some deals for the coming months and other contracts already secured by the end of the year. “I closed the semester with a single order,” says the director. With Henrimar it was no different. In the first three days of the event, the company was able to meet 90% of its customers to present, exclusively, all of its innovations. The result, in terms of business, was 20% higher than projected by the company for the fair, which should represent a 15% increase in the balance. The results of Sibrape Pentair and Genco in their turns exceed those of their last participation in 2011. In the case of Genco, EXPOLAZER 2013 ended as the best edition of all, exceeding the company´s initial projections by 30%. “Our participation was exceptional. No doubt it was our best edition”, celebrated its director Hugo Lisboa. Thanks to the high investment in new products, Sibrape achieved results 15% higher in terms of business, in relation to its participation in 2011. Mauro Rafael Alexandre, the company´s marketing analyst believes the tradition and importance of the fair are decisive factors in the final outcome. “The event is of great importance to the company, because, as it is positioned at the beginning of the calendar, we can bring the customers and introduce them to the innovations and close plenty of deals.” The president of Francal Feiras, promoter and organizer of the fair, believes the results of this edition reflect the great potential for growth and evolution of this market: “We finished EXPOLAZER with a feeling of guaranteed accomplishment and satisfaction with the exhibitors. The fair was visited in mass, both in terms of quantity and quality in visitation, and companies also indicated that they did good business” he celebrates. Beyond expectations was also the conclusion of Demetrio Cabello, president of the ANAPP (National Association of Manufacturers and Builders of Pools and Related Products). He believes that the 19th edition of the fair stood out for its professionalization and visitation of excellent quality: “Without a doubt this was the best edition we´ve ever had. The exhibitors were very well prepared to meet the public and most praised the quality of visitation. This event is likely to grow further, both in number of exhibitors and size”, he concluded.
Forum Held on the second and third day of EXPOLAZER 2013, the National Forum of the Pools and Spas Industry had a packed full auditorium in all lectures. On the agenda, issues like security, technical standards, taxation, ozone treatment, fiberoptic lighting, construction and management of pools, branding and training in sales.
ANAPP EXPOLAZER AWARD The result of an initiative of ANAPP in partnership with Francal Feiras, the award was held on July 31 at a dinner ceremony attended by key players of pools and accessories market. Five of the most prominent stores in the country, manufacturers who have excelled in 14 different categories and the best sales representatives in each region of Brazil were awarded.
